Meet singer/songwriter
Domanique Grant is an award-winning singer-songwriter and global keynote speaker whose genre-bending music blends alternative pop, soul, and world influences into raw anthems for the heart space.
Recognized by BBC London as “one of the most exciting voices in music right now,” and named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women, Domanique Grant has built a career on connection.
Born in Toronto to Jamaican heritage, her work fuses music, storytelling, performance art and social impact. Having lived in communities across Canada, Uganda, and Argentina before the age of 22, her music carries a global heartbeat, effortlessly transcending borders and language. Her sound—described as “genre-bending” by BBC Meyerside—channels the emotional depth of Sade, the ethereal energy of Tems, and the fearless vulnerability of artists like Jhené Aiko and Lizzo.
Her breakthrough double EP, QUEEN/DOM, earned critical acclaim, with the single "Airbrush" breaking into Canada’s Top 40 Hot AC Radio and landing major sync placements with L’Oréal Paris, Unilever (Shea Moisture, Vaseline), and more. She has been celebrated as a Spotify Artist to Watch and an Amazon Music x Women in Music Canada Artist of the Year nominee. In 2020, her song “Till We See The Sun” went viral, inspiring fans across 20+ countries to reimagine her anthem of hope. That same year, she was handpicked as one of only eight Canadian artists featured in a commercial spot opening for the 65th Grammy Awards.
Domanique’s rare and powerful gift is—deep, authentic connection. It’s a superpower that makes every performance a transformative experience.
Domanique’s live performances are where her magic truly comes alive. Praised by TEDx and festival curators worldwide, her immersive stage presence fuses storytelling, performance art, aerial hoop artistry, and powerful visuals, making her a must-see for any festival lineup. With performances spanning four continents, she has taken the stage at Focus Wales (UK), Fame Week Africa (South Africa), Canadian Music Week (Canada), World AIDS Day (Uganda), Sofar Sounds (Los Angeles), to name a few.
2025 is set to be a defining year. Domanique is gearing up to release her highly anticipated EP, produced by Grammy-nominated producer Jarrel The Young (Drake, The Weeknd). As she embarks on an opening tour slot for 4x Juno Award-winning icon Jully Black, Domanique Grant is proving that Queendom isn’t just a name—it’s a movement.
More than an artist, Domanique amplifies creativity as a force for change. A 2024 Keychange Europe Innovator and the Founder of The Imagiin Summit, Domanique’s creative thought leadership has been featured by BBC Radio London, the Financial Times, the Toronto Star, Microsoft Canada, Global News, The Times Daily South Africa, NBS, and CBC. Through storytelling, she inspires audiences worldwide to embrace authenticity, resilience, and the power of creativity.
DOMANIQUE GRANT
