Inspiring Global Audiences Through Creativity, Education & Empowerment

“I turned my limitations into my superpower — and now I help others unlock their potential and creative genius across industries and borders.”

Domanique’s core belief is simple yet powerful: everyone has an untapped creative genius, and those gifts can be harnessed across any industry. Growing up constrained by systems shaped by race, gender, income, and being told she had a “broken brain,” Domanique was forced to confront an early and defining question: How do you transform the systems you’re born into—and your perceived limitations—into purpose, impact, and ultimately your superpower, when no one sees your potential?

By the age of 18, Domanique Grant’s story had already been written into a Dora Award–nominated production (Canada’s Tony Awards). Today, she is an artist whose music, multidisciplinary career, and award-winning work as a creative entrepreneur translate across countries, industries, and languages. Today Domanique uses her platform as and award-winning singer-songwriter, international keynote speaker, and 3× award-winning creative entrepreneur, as well as the founder of The Imagiin Summit, to make impact.

About

By the age of 18, Domanique Grant’s story had already been written into a Dora Award–nominated production (Canada’s Tony Awards). Today, she is an artist whose music, multidisciplinary career, and award-winning work as a creative entrepreneur translate across countries, industries, and languages.

Raised by a mother who taught neurodiverse students, and inspired by artists such as Nelly Furtado (a Grammy Award–winning neurodiverse artist), Serena Ryder, and Janelle Monáe—creators who built their careers alongside meaningful social impact—Domanique decided early on that her greatest assets would be her curiosity and imagination.

She became her own scientist. Through libraries, YouTube, academic courses, and community programs, Domanique studied brain science, creativity, and nervous system regulation to better understand how to manage a neurodiverse mind. At the same time, she immersed herself in volunteer entrepreneurship and arts programs across Toronto, training not only as an artist, but in the business and systems behind the creative industries.

After being told she would never graduate high school, Domanique accumulated thousands of volunteer hours and went on to graduate both high school and university with honours. Following her third-year internship and international field placement in Uganda, she was recognized by the President’s Office of York University and received her first Humanitarian Award at age 21.

Today, Domanique Grant is an award-winning singer-songwriter, international keynote speaker, and 3× award-winning creative entrepreneur, as well as the founder of The Imagiin Summit.

Her core belief is simple yet powerful: everyone has an untapped creative genius, and those gifts can be harnessed across any industry.

What began as a passion project has grown into one of Canada’s leading professional development and wellness conferences for the creative and cultural industries. The Imagiin Summit’s unique focus on nervous system regulation, creativity-informed leadership, and inclusive professional development has led to Domanique being invited to perform and speak across more than half the continents worldwide. She has opened for Les Brown, one of the most recognized keynote speakers in history, and has taken the stage at TEDx, World AIDS Day Uganda (40,000+ attendees), and the United Nations, among others.

Domanique’s rare ability to bridge artistry and thought leadership has led to features with Microsoft Canada, BBC London, BBC Merseyside, CBC, NBS, The Financial Post, The Toronto Star, CP24, and Global News. She was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women (Women of Courage category) by WXN Canada, recognized as One of Toronto’s Most Inspiring Women, and honoured by Women in Music Canada.

Through The Imagiin Summit and its umbrella organization, The Imagiin Lab, Domanique designs programming that centers nervous system regulation, culturally responsive leadership, and science-backed mental wellness tools—equipping gender-diverse, culturally diverse, and neurodiverse professionals to sustainably navigate systemic barriers and redefine success on their own terms.

Domanique is also the recipient of the Black Canadian Humanitarian Award for her global impact across North America and Africa.

Whether performing or speaking, her message resonates across borders, industries, and languages. Domanique’s journey is a living reminder that we are capable of transcending barriers of race, gender, income, and education—when we believe in ourselves, trust our vision even when it isn’t understood, and choose to turn our perceived limitations into our greatest strengths.
